Service terms

These terms govern fixed-scope services sold under the Local Answer Lab name. The contracting provider and any order-specific terms are identified in the written project scope, invoice, or payment receipt. By purchasing a project, the agency agrees to these terms and the confirmed scope.

Scope and order

The service is limited to the written scope confirmed before payment. The founding pilot includes one public client website, one defined market, up to three named competitors, the listed deliverables, and one consolidated revision round. Work outside that scope requires a separate written agreement.

Timing and cooperation

After cleared payment and receipt of a complete intake, we send a project-start confirmation with the exact due date. The confirmation date is Day 0, and delivery is due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on the third following business day. Business days are Monday through Friday excluding U.S. federal holidays. Delays in the brief, feedback, or necessary factual confirmation extend the schedule.

Agency authority and approvals

The agency confirms it has authority to request work concerning the identified client and to share submitted materials. The agency is responsible for end-client approvals, legal and regulatory review, factual verification, implementation, and publication decisions.

Research limitations

AI-generated answers and search results vary by time, location, account, prompt wording, model, and system changes. The report is a dated sample of observed outputs and public sources, not a permanent rank measurement. We do not guarantee mentions, citations, rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, or any other outcome.

Deliverables and white-label license

After full payment, the agency receives a non-exclusive license to edit, brand, present, and use the final deliverables for the named client. Pre-existing methods, templates, systems, and general know-how remain ours. Third-party names, marks, content, and data remain the property of their respective owners.

Revisions, acceptance, and refunds

One consolidated revision request may be submitted within five business days after delivery. The agency may request a full refund before we send the project-start confirmation. Once custom research begins, payment is non-refundable except where required by law or where we materially fail to deliver the agreed scope and do not cure that failure within a reasonable period.

Confidentiality

We will treat non-public project materials as confidential and use them only to perform the service, subject to ordinary service-provider access and legal requirements. Public information and independently developed methods are not confidential.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided without implied guarantees and total liability arising from a project will not exceed the amount paid for that project. Neither party is liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.

Order terms and governing law

The confirmed project scope, invoice, and these terms form the agreement. If they conflict, the project scope controls for that project. Governing law and venue are those stated in the project scope or invoice; mandatory applicable law continues to apply.
